 FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK, DECEMBER 11, 2022.

GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS
Dear brothers and sisters,
How are you today? I pray that you remain blessed and highly favored. I feel the same way, even though I am grieving the loss of my beloved sister, Benedicta in this life. May her gentle soul rest in God’s peace.

THE MESSAGE OF GAUDETE SUNDAY
In the face of life's puzzles and paradoxes, the Word of God says, "Strengthen the hands that are feeble, make firm the knees that are weak, say to those whose hearts are frightened: Be strong, fear not! Here is your God, he comes with vindication; With divine recompense he comes to save you." (Isaiah 35:3-4). That is the reason for our joy.

I AM BEREAVED
Mrs Benedicta Nkey Maduegbunam, my youngest sister died yesterday in St Charles Borromeo hospital Onitsha in Biafra, my home land. She and Herbert, her husband begot four little sons: Onyedikachi 14, Ifeanyichukwu, 12, Chukwudalu 8, Chukwubueze 6. My heart is broken. I cannot bear it but I know that God will help me. Please pray for the repose of her soul and for God’s healing of all my family especially my mother whom she was taking care of. I may travel home on December 30, 2022 to return on January 26, 2022 for my sister’s funeral and burial.
